On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, hundreds of Southern California’s most influential business, corporate, sports & entertainment, elected-officials and community leaders will come together as Stop the Violence Increase the Peace Foundation, a 501 (c) non-profit community prevention and intervention organization presents their 2010 Spirit of Peace Awards: Honoring Excellence in Violence Prevention and Intervention.

Now in its 8th year, the Spirit of Peace Awards program will honor extraordinary individuals and organizations who have been dedicated to the work of ending the cycle of violence in urban communities, as well as provide support for a regional collaboration of 120 agencies who provide prevention and intervention
services to women and children living in poverty.
